RUNIT LEAGUE | 2025 - A YEAR IN REVIEW

2025 marked a foundational year for RUNIT League, defined by proof of concept, international expansion, and accelerated market validation. 

The journey began on March 1, 2025, with RUNIT’s inaugural Trial Event, followed by two additional trials across Melbourne, allowing the league to refine its format, athlete experience, and live presentation.

Momentum continued with the launch of RUNIT’s first official live show, RUNIT 01, held at Melbourne Pavilion on April 30. This milestone event represented a significant step forward in establishing RUNIT as a live sports entertainment property, setting a new benchmark for production, athlete engagement, and fan experience.

May 19 and 21, RUNIT expanded internationally. RUNIT hosted its first overseas Trial Event at Trusts Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, further validating the league’s cross-border appeal. 

This growth culminated in RUNIT 02, held in the sandy hot - Dubai on June 28, showcasing the biggest runners and hitters from Australia and New Zealand on a global stage and reinforcing RUNIT’s ambition as an international sports entertainment platform.

The year concluded with a major strategic milestone: a six-city West Coast USA tour from November 15 to December 5, planting the RUNIT flag in Las Vegas (Nevada), Salt Lake City (Utah), Santa Monica and Irvine (California), Seattle (Washington), and Austin (Texas). This tour focused on market entry, talent recruitment, audience testing, and ecosystem development across key U.S. sports and entertainment hubs.

With a strong foundation established across multiple continents, RUNIT League enters 2026 positioned for scale — with larger events, expanded markets, and even bigger collisions.
